GBFC Help Out At Shark Park
Last Saturday a double header of football was played at NRL Shark Park when
the Sutherland Sharks played Marconi and Sydney FC played North Queensland Fury in
separate games.

 |
Eight boys from the GBFC U16C team helped
Sydney FC to a 4-0 win by acting as stretcher bearers.
They were very excited to be seated right on the field, and only a little nervous
about the possibility of dropping an injured player with a big football contract.
Luckily their services weren't needed by either team, nor did they drop anyone.
Thanks to the U16C players Blake, Sam, Alex, Brad, Blake, John, Ben and Michael
for representing our club. |
 |
The U8H team also proved GBFC are a force to be
reckoned with by beating the Redbacks
in a demonstration match during the break between the two
headline games.
Thanks also to the U8H team for their showing your skills to the
Shire. |
Three Monday Night Keeper Training Sessions Left
Please be advised that there are only three more goal keeping sessions planned
for this season. These are going to be incorporated into our Development Squad
training held on Monday nights between 6:00PM and 7.30PM. This will ensure that
our goalkeepers get a good work out while at the same time allowing us to utilize
another accredited coach with our young strikers.
Any questions with regard to the above please phone Stewart Porter 0419 282 111.
